Applications now open for September 2021 undergraduate admissions
Applications are now open for students aiming for September 2021 entry. Central’s undergraduate students commence with the two year Foundation Degree and, on successful completion, can progress to the one year BA (Hons) (Top Up) course to achieve the BA (Hons) Degree in Professional Dance and Performance, both courses validated by the University of Kent.
The application process has changed this year to allow for the UK Government’s COVID restrictions, meaning applicants for September 2021 entry are required to apply via a video and online submission. All details about the applications process, with all requirements plus information about entry criteria, fees and funding can be found here.
Joining Central, one of the world’s leading professional dance training organisations, next September will allow students to enjoy the state-of-the-art facilities in the School’s new home in the London Borough of Southwark, part of the South Bank arts community. The new premises, The Countess of Wessex Studios, offer amenities to rival dance training facilities anywhere in the UK; seven studios, a fully-equipped studio theatre, study and resource centres. The fit-out will include a state-of-the-art health suite providing psychology, nutrition, physiotherapy, Pilates and a recovery-from-injury programme.
Central’s graduates go on to work in the leading international dance companies and renowned musical theatre productions with high levels of employment within six months of graduating. See where the class of 2020 is now here and read current student stories here.
